Why you'll love it
Probiotic: Intestinal flora play such an important role, and supplementing with Probiotics can really have a profound effect on promoting overall good health. In fact, 70% of the immune system is located in the intestine which makes sense when you consider that the gut is actually the gatekeeper responsible for allowing the passage nutrients while preventing toxins from entering our bloodstream
Vitamin D: Vitamin D is a health basic. Everyone from infants to seniors can benefit from the appropriate dose of Vitamin D, especially those who live in a colder climate with limited year-round exposure to direct sun. Because diet alone is a poor source of Vitamin D, most of your body’s needs are met from exposure to sunlight and complemented with supplements
Magnesium: Because this ultra relaxing mineral is great for your mind, body and spirit! Quite literally though, Magnesium is responsible for the relaxation of everything from blood vessels for a healthy heart, to smooth muscle for easing cramps, to bowels to keep things regular, to the nervous system to help with sleep and more! It’s not surprising that it impacts so many body systems seeing as it’s the fourth most abundant mineral in the body and is responsible for over 300 biochemical reactions.
Prenatal Multi: Pregnancy and the postpartum period can be incredibly taxing on a woman’s body resulting in an increased need for nutrients including vitamins and minerals. A balanced and nutritious diet that focuses on whole, unprocessed foods is a good starting point to help ensure a healthy pregnancy. A high quality Prenatal supplement can help fill nutritional gaps in your day to day eating plan, and ensures that you are getting the minimum essential nutrients that will help you grow a happy and healthy baby.
Calcium: Not only is Calcium essential for good bone health, it also plays a critical role in nerve and muscle function and cardiovascular health.
Prenatal DHA: When you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, your requirements for Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) increase. During pregnancy, the Omega 3’s travel through your placenta and support the growth of the baby’s brain, eyes, nervous system and tissues. Interestingly, there have also been some studies showing that maternal intake of DHA while pregnant and breastfeeding can actually decrease the risk of infant allergies.
